DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY
At the Berdakh Karakalpak State University, the Department of Chemical Technology began its work in 1993 as the Department of Environmental Protection and Rational Use of Natural Resources. Since 1996, the department has been renamed the Department of “Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Technology”. During the activity of the department , associate professors B.Tanirbergenov (1993-1994), B.Jarekeev (1994-2005), M.Ayımbetov (2005-2006), B.Allambergenov (2006-2009), B.Nurımbetov (2009 – 2012), M.Ayımbetov (2012-2018) worked as the head of the department. Since 2018, the department has been headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor B.Xojametova.
Currently, the department has a bachelor’s degree in the specialties 5320400-Chemical technology (chemical technology of inorganic substances) and 5321000-Food technology (meat, dairy products and canned food).
From the 2019-2020 academic year, the department trains personnel to obtain a master’s degree in the specialty 5A320401-Chemical Technology (Chemical technology of inorganic substances).
Since the 2019-2020 academic year, the department accepts masters in the directions 1-48 80 01. Chemical technology of inorganic substances and 1-36 80 07. Chemical-technological processes and equipment on a joint basis with the Belarusian State Technological University.
During its development, the Department of Chemical Technology has trained many bachelors and masters. Currently, they work in many educational institutions, industrial enterprises and scientific centers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Since the foundation of the department, much attention has been paid to the training of engineers and technologists. For this purpose, the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chemical Laboratory of the Research Institute of the Karakalpak branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Belarusian State Technological University, LLC “Navoizot”, LLC “Nukus Mirab”, LLC “Kungrad Soda Plant”, LLC “Karakalpakcement”, LLC “Titantsement”, LLC “Nukuspolimer”.
An agreement on cooperation in food technology with the PANAMILK mini-plant owned by PANAEV FARMS, Muynak Aquasanoat SUE (Moynak Aqua sanaatrybny Cannery), UzTest SUE, Takhiatash-Dan onimleri LLC and introductory, production, qualification and pre-graduate practice of students are conducted at these production enterprises.
In order to improve the quality of education, students of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, the Belarusian State Technological University and the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan are involved in training.

Dzhandullayeva., head of the Chemistry Laboratory of the Karakalpak branch The Karakalpak branch of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, associate Professor A.Zh. Abylov, cooperates in the field of training and education of students on a part-time basis.
Associate Professor of the Department “Processes and Apparatuses of Chemical Technology” of the Belarusian State Technological University, Ph.D. E.V. Opimakh conducts lectures with students and undergraduate masters in chemistry and chemical technology.
Associate Professor of the Department “Processes and Devices of Chemical Technology” of the Belarusian State Technological University, Candidate of Technical Sciences E.V. Opimakh gave a lecture to professors and masters at a seminar of the Faculty of Chemistry and Technology on the topic “Development of chemical technology in the Republic of Belarus”.

Khojametova Biybimaryam Kaypovna, candidate of technical sciences., docent. She was born on January 23, 1968 in Karauzyak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In 1991 he graduated from Nukus State University. Specialty: chemistry, teacher. Since 1991, she worked at the department as an assistant, graduate student, associate professor of the department, deputy dean of the Faculty of Chemistry for spiritual and moral issues and academic work. Based on local raw materials mined in the Republic of Karakalpakstan: she studied mineralogy, the chemical composition of Bekbay loess, Khodzhakul bentonite and Khodjakul clay, conducted scientific research on the technology of production of building bricks. In 2012 she defended his dissertation on «The building of ceramic with improvement of properties on the bases contents of carbonate clay Karakalpakstan» Member of the scientific seminar at the Academic Council PhD.03 / 30.12.2019.T.20.03, awarding academic degrees at Karakalpak State University. Ayimbetov Maksetbay Jollibaevich, candidate of Technical Sciences, Ass. Professor. He was born on December 15, 1969 in Nukus region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, graduated from KSU named after Berdakh in 1995, in specialty: chemist. He was a doctor of Philosophy in the laboratory of “The Technology of Synthetic Drugs” in Chemical Institute of Plant Substance, Science Academy of Rep. Uzbekistan between 1996 and 1999 years. He defended his dissertation paper on “Development of technologies for obtaining small dispersed forms of fennel and its modifications with polymers” in 1999. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2004. More than 60 research papers have been published. Author of 2 monographs, 4 textbooks. Since 2019, Associate Professor in the department “Chemical Technology”. |

Madenov Berdimurat Dauletmuratovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences (PhD) was born on July 21, 1984 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Shumanai district. In 2008 he graduated from the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical Institute named Azhiniyaz. 2010 graduated from the magistracy of KSU named after Berdakh. Specialty: chemist. In 2017 he worked as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Chemical Technology. In 2018 he defended his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) thesis on the topic “Development of technology for obtaining thermostable ammonium nitrate with inorganic additives”. She is the author of over 40 scientific publications. Since 2019, he has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Chemical Technology. |
